(7) Clearances through Single Desk Portal (SDP):

A.P. Single Desk Portal was launched in June 2015. It is a one-stop-shop for investors to apply for all necessary regulatory approvals for starting and operating an industry and obtain them within 21 working days maximum without the need to physically visit any department. This portal is closely monitored by the Commissioner of Industries, with the General Manager, DIC, ensuring that all pending approvals are cleared within the stipulated timeframe. The District Collector reviews the progress regularly in DIEPC meetings to ensure effective implementation. This initiative aims to simplify the process of setting up and operating industries in the region, promoting ease of doing business.
